Description
Salty, freshly popped popcorn made with real kernels and a brown paper bag. Ready in under 3 minutes and portioned for one person.
Ingredients

- 1/3 cup unpopped popcorn kernels (yellow or white)
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
Instructions
- Combine the popcorn kernels and avocado oil in a small bowl or cup and stir until all the kernels are coated.
- Pour the coated kernels into a brown paper bag. Sprinkle the salt over the kernels inside the bag.
- Fold the top of the bag over twice to close it.
- Microwave on full power for 2 1/2 to 3 minutes. Pull the bag when you hear about 2 seconds of silence between pops.
- Open the bag carefully away from your face (steam!), pour into a bowl, and enjoy.
Notes
- A few kernels will always stay unpopped. Longer cooking may pop them but will burn the rest, so it’s not recommended.
