Ingredients

  • 4 oz smoked salmon
  • 1 bagel (your choice of flavor)
  • 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 small tomato, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 2 oz cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon capers
  • Black pepper, freshly ground (to taste)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Bagel: Slice the bagel in half horizontally.
  • Spread Cream Cheese: Spread a generous 2 oz of cream cheese on each side of the bagel.
  • Layer Smoked Salmon: Divide the smoked salmon evenly and place it on the bottom half of the bagel.
  • Add Vegetables: Add the thinly sliced red onion, tomato slices, and cucumber slices to your bagel.
  • Sprinkle with Dill: Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of freshly chopped dill over the vegetables on the bagel.
  • Top with Capers: Scatter 1 tablespoon of capers evenly over the vegetables and salmon on the bagel.
