Description

Bake a juicy hamburger and crispy frozen fries together on one sheet pan. This single-serve dinner keeps things simple and avoids leftovers.

Ingredients

Units

Burgers:

  • 45 ounces lean ground beef (90% lean, 10% fat)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Frozen french fries
  • Cooking spray oil
  • 1 Hamburger bun

Burger Toppings:

  • 12 lettuce leaves
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 slice of cheese (or pepper jack or cheese of choice)
  • jalapeno slices (optional)

Secret Sauce:

  • 1/8 cup mayo
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (depending on preferred spice)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Line a sheet pan with foil and place a cooling rack on top (optional but recommended).
  3. In a small bowl, mix ground beef with Worcestershire sauce. Form into one patty and press a small indent in the center.
  4. Season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  5. Place burger on the rack. Add frozen fries to the pan and lightly spray with oil.
  6. Bake 18–25 minutes, until the burger reaches 160°F and fries are golden.
  7. Let burger rest 5 minutes. Add cheese while it rests so it melts.
  8. Toast bun if desired, assemble with toppings and sauce, and serve with fries.

Notes

I’m using 90/10 ground beef
